Macon County has no shortage of attractions. The county is rich with history and beautiful views of nature. Here are some other attractions that you might find of interest or go to when you are looking for something to do in Macon County.

TN52 Yard Sale

Tennessee’s second longest yard sell with over 500 vendors selling antiques, crafts, food, and more. The yard sale stretches from  Orlinda, TN to Celina, TN, the yard sale passes through Macon County. The yard sale that now covers 95 miles started in Macon County along Hwy 52.  The yard sale occurs each year on the third weekend of May.

Folk Medicine Festival

At the City Park in Red Boiling Springs, the Folk Medicine Festival has speakers on herbs, organic gardening, and alternative health care. Arts and crafts vendors, and demonstrators are located throughout the parks and the downtown area.

Lafayette Lions Club sponsors the Lafayette Hillbilly Days in Key Park. The 3 day festival has games, rides, crafts, and food. 

Macon County Fair

The Macon County Fair is for the people of Macon County and the surrounding counties. It is  a fun, friendly, and safe environment for families to come and enjoy. 

Mid-Tenn Antique Automobile Club Meet

Held in September in Red Boiling Springs. With 300 to 400 show cars on the field and over 100 vendors in the Flea Market. It is the oldest continually held car show in the South!!

Southeast Region Bio-dynamic Conference

A high-quality educational event with the atmosphere of a seasonal celebration. You will find workshops, lectures, and discussions o a bio-dynamic farm. In attendance are the region’s sustainable growers, biodynamic enthusiasts, permaculture practitioners, homesteaders, and friends in general.

How’d Dey Do Dat? Day

A rural heritage celebration of handcrafters: carvers, woodworkers, quilters, artists, seamstresses, blacksmiths, wagonmakers, potters, photographers, musicians and storytellers. We are continuing the crafts that have come from this farm for more than 65 years.
