965-1333 Drury Ridge Rd

People also bartered chicken eggs to the peddlers for groceries. This is how the ridge became known as Peddlers Ridge.

John Drury came to the Ridge from Virginia in 1828, first settling in Meadorville. He had acquired about 600 acres in a land grant. Drury Cemetery, located on Drury Ridge Road, started in 1835.
